Since baby Mya was in the NICU for a week, we were only able to see her far away and through glass for 30 seconds. So no pictures! Rip Off! It was upsetting to not see her for real and hold her. Abbey and Matt have been through so much. I can't imagine the anguish of having a baby and not being able to have her right next to me and then leaving the hospital without her. That is too much for a person to take.
What a looooooong journey it has been to get that sweet baby here and home. So many prayers, so many tears. But already so much joy.

Tristie, you're right on. What a touching photo. Yes, new babies can bring entire family clans to their knees. They can also cement and strengthen family ties. "Love is the only you can divide and get more of." Our family just received a new mega dose of love. Thanks Matt and Abbey!
That is a beautiful pictures! i am so glad it all ended well.
That is rough... at least it was only a week. My friend just had identical twins that were in the same sack. She was 31 weeks so her babies will be in the NICU for a couple of months... they are just happy that they are here safe!
Congrats to Abbey and Matt! I am glad everything is okay :)
Glad to hear the babe is home and in the arms of her momma. What a great pic of before!
Miracles around us everyday. I bet it was a very sweet moment when they stepped through the door with their little one.
